The Fowler XT Holemike Bore Gages have been around since 2000 and remain one of the best brands of 3-point internal micrometers. Manufactured in Engalnd by Bowers Metrology, Fowler offers the XT series of Holemikes that measure in both inch and metric. The Fowler XT series of holemike bore gages are offered as individual ranges which include a mechanical micrometer head readout, XT head and XT ring. The large capacity sets cover a larger range and include multiple readouts, heads and setting rings. Extensions are readily available for those users who need to take bore measurements a little deeper into the bore.
The Fowler XT holemike bore gages have a ratchet thimble on the readout which provides a constant measuring force each time you take a measurement. As long as users are consistent with the same number of clicks on the thimble each time, the XT holemikes will prove to have a great repeatability and accuracy. All of the XT Holemike sets include UKAS Certification.
