The Mitutoyo QuickMike digital micrometer has a fast spindle feed which allows various shapes to be measured quickly. The Mitutoyo Digimatic QuickMike coolant proof digital micrometer feeds the spindle 10mm per thimble rotation, or 20-times faster than standard micrometers. This speed provides quicker measurements on different sized features. The wide measuring range on the Mitutoyo 293-679-20 allows for measuring of different workpieces without sacrificing speed or accuracy.
Features:
- The QuickMike provides a speedy spindle feed of 10mm / .4” per thimble rotation compared to the conventional micrometer with .025″/5mm per rotation.
- Non-rotating spindle and the new ratchet friction thimble reduces torsion on softer parts being measured
- Ratchet thimble allows for easy single-hand use when measuring objects
- ABSOLUTE linear scale eliminates the need for setting the origin point every time the micrometer is powered on
- Elimination of overspeed errors provides a higher measurement reliability and repeatability
- IP54 protection permits use in environments exposed to cutting oil, coolant, dust, etc., for use on most shop floor environments
- Available with SPC data output capabilities
- Includes a standard bar to set the origin point (for models with 25-55mm / 1-2.2” ranges or larger)
- Supplied in fitted plastic case
