A contact point is a subpart of an indicator. The contact point is the accessory built into an indicator that makes contact with the part or object which
is being measured. It does not matter whether an indicator is electronic or digital in build or of a dial design, because contact points can be fitted
to any indicator. Most contact points are required to fit the standards set by the American Gage Design, or another relevant set of standards depending
