Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)

Liquid crystal displays use a backlight that lights individual pixels that make up a display screen. By using a backlighting system instead of firing electrons at a glass screen, the LCD system allows for millions of color combinations using individual pixels that have a red, blue, and green light function that can be turned on or off. LCD screens provide a more evenly lit surface that is polarized, leading to better readability and a clearer display.
