Oddleg caliper
An oddleg caliper is a type of caliper used to measure or mark a specific distance away from one edge or side of a part or object. With one straight jaw, the edge of the part may be isolated while the other bent jaw which has a scriber at the end may be used to make a mark. Oddleg calipers are great for marking out a particular distance or for discovering a very specific distance that references only one edge.
