The Mitutoyo 102-303 outside ratchet stop micrometer applies constant measuring force on a workpiece and provides greater accuracy even with one-handed operation. Available in metric only. The Mitutoyo 102 series outside micrometer is ideal for measuring metal and non-metal workpieces in tight spaces and narrow slots attributed to the taper of its frame on the anvil side. A ratchet-stop mechanism provides uniform pressure on a workpiece for precise, repeatable measurements. The 102 series micrometers have the heat insulated frame which makes these micrometers durable to be used out on the shop floor.
