Mitutoyo offers a wide variety of optical comparators and have a solution for almost every comparator measuring application. The PH-A14
profile projector is one of the most popular optical comparators use in machine shops today. With each different optical comparator, edge detection is an optional accessory but we would highly recommend it. There are three different readouts available for the different optical comparators. The KA Counter is your most basic X and Y digital readout. The QM200 has been the most popular up until 2019 when the new M3 readout hit the US market. The new M3 readout looks similar to a tablet and is user friendly and allows users to get the most out of their profile projector.
