Higher Precision places many common precision measurement tools in this category which include squares, combination squares and rules. Machinist squares also known as engineering squares consist of two blades fixed together to form a 90° angle. A square is used to measure how square a workpiece is or to scribe or mark out a piece of metal.
Similar to machinist squares, combination squares are commonly used in metalworking and woodworking. A combination square at minimum consists of a ruler and an interchangeable accessory. The most common accessory used is the square head which consists of a 90° and 45° angle. A second accessory commonly found on combination squares is the protractor head. This accessory allows the operator to set and measure angles. The third common accessory found with combination squares in the 45° center square which allows the user to find the center of a circular workpiece. Combination squares are available with a variety of different length rules along with different graduations on the rules.
Higher Precision offers both rigid and flexible rules and are available in a variety of different colors. Machinist rules are available in a wide variety of lengths as well as graduations. Higher Precision features workshop tools from the most trusted brands in the industry.
