Hi this is Mike with Higher Precision and today we're going to be taking a look at the Fowler Z Height E electronic height gauge part number of
The Fowler Z Height Electronic height gauge comes with a movable wheel that lifts and lowers the gauge. A fine adjustment lock, a locking lever, a fine
adjustment wheel itself - to tone in on measurement, a scriber, and a scriber clamp. The digital
display itself is pretty easy to use it's a LCD display. The first button you have here on the right is an off button. You have your inch metric button.
You have your on and 0 button, so the on button also acts for zeroing. So for you to move this gauge you just tap the zero button and it will zero
itself, and then you have an add and subtract button these communities if you're using a setting on another reference location such as a gauge block
you can measure and then use either add or subtract to match your master block. Another popular thing to do with this height gauge is where the scriber
is a lot of people add on here some type of test indicator and the point of this would be doing measurements on perpendicularity. This is pretty popular
with this height gauge.
