The Mitutoyo 227-221-22 quickmike type non-rotating spindle disc micrometer is designed to measure the root tangent length of spur gears and helical gears with high accuracy and faster speeds. The Mitutoyo quickmike type electronic disk micrometer uses flat discs and non-rotating spindle constructed of hardened steel in our own Japanese facilities to measure lengths of spur and helical gears. The non-rotating spindle reduces torque on parts being measured and prevents workpiece deformation and wear. A ratchet-stop mechanism provides uniform pressure on a workpiece for precise, repeatable measurements. Readings are displayed on an easy-to-read LCD readout.
