The Starrett 82236 Granite Plate Stationary Stand has the following specifications:

Firstly, Mitutoyo’s 82236 Stationary Surface Plate are constructed from welded square steel tubing to provide exceptional strength and durability. Steel crossbeams are located at the proper support points to ensure maximum surface plate accuracy.
Secondly, every stationary stand is supplied with a scratch and abrasion resistant industrial powder coated finish. All stock stands are a standard beige gray color. However, other colors are available upon request and at an additional charge.
Mitutoyo’s Stationary stand comes with leveling adjustors with the typical adjustment being 2″. The 82236 is just a stationary stand and does not include any type of cabinet. Starrett does provide cabinet type surface plate stands if you are in need of one with storage options. Starrett fabricates their rolling stands with both stationary and swivel casters. In addition, rolling stands are only available for specific sizes.
